How To ?

How to apply stencils:

1. First practice with the stencil on paper by either stippling or painting in small circular movements.

2. Make sure the surface on which you want to stencil is clean and dry.

3. Position the stencil on the surface (wall, furniture, picture frame, etc.) with masking tape.

4. We recommend using a stencil brush and starting with the lightest color paint.

5. Don’t use too much paint; blot excess on a piece of paper.

6. Now, start filling in the stencil with paint in small circular movements, just like the ones you practiced!

7. Clean the stencil with a rag, then use soap and water – store for later use.

8. Allow paint to dry for 24 – 48 hours.

How to apply stamps:

1. First practice with the stamps on paper.

2. Make sure the surface on which you want to stamp is clean and dry.

3. We recommend using a small paint roller to cover the stamp surface.

4. Press the stamp evenly on the surface (this can be a wall, furniture, picture frame, etc.)

5. Re-apply paint to the stamp after every use.

6. Clean the stamp with a rag, then use soap and water – store for later use.

7. Allow paint to dry for 24 – 48 hours.

How to apply Snap Instant Wall Art:

1. Ensure the surface is clean, smooth and dry before applying the wall decals.

2. Carefully peel the sticker you want to use first from the backing sheet.

3. Position and apply to the desired location. If the decal you are working with is a mini mural or has more than one piece, just work with one piece until you are satisfied and then place the other piece to match.

4. To reposition the sticker, slowly and carefully peel away from the surface. Reposition the sticker and apply

5. See our Decorating Ideas for tips on where to place the decals, what to do about air bubbles and what to do if the decal sticks to itself.
