Q:
How do I apply Snap?
A:
It’s easy to Snap:
- Buff your stuff: get your surfaces smooth, clean and dry.
- Now just peel and stick Snap on your wall. Really, it’s that easy!
- If you get air bubbles along the way, simply smooth them out or remove the sticker and reapply.
- If your decal sticks to itself slowly pull the pieces apart. Just be patient and take your time.
- You didn’t Snap exactly where you wanted? No worries. Give the sticker a nice, slow pull to remove it from the wall, and then reposition. Since it is guaranteed removable it won’t harm the wall when you take it off.
Q:
How do I store my Snap decals?
A:
If you want to try a new Snap design or it’s time to repaint the walls store your Snap decals on their original liner
or a piece of wax paper. You can reposition and reapply your Snap decals an infinite number of times provided they are
kept clean (
see FAQ on how to take care of your decals). Placing them on their original liner will help to keep them
in proper condition so that you can enjoy them over and over again but if you simply don’t have the original liner
anymore a piece of wax paper should work just as well. Being able to take the Snap off the wall and save it for a
later use is perfect if you are moving, redecorating, switching rooms or renovating.
Q:
Can I apply Snap anywhere?
A:
For best results we recommend applying Snap to surfaces that are smooth or have a light texture – the less
texture; the better the product will adhere. You can apply Snap to almost any smooth or lightly textured surface.
We don’t recommend applying Snap to highly textured walls, brick or other porous surfaces.
For best results, you should first test the surface with a small decal or an extra piece of the liner in
an inconspicuous location. Results may vary based on the texture of the surface, humidity levels and whether
the surface is dirty or dusty.
Q:
Can I apply Snap to my freshly painted walls?
A:
We recommend that you review the paint manufacturer’s drying times when applying Snap to freshly painted walls.
You may need to wait a day or two to ensure that the surface is completely dry even if it feels dry to the
touch. Paint requires time to cure completely. This will ensure that the decals will adhere properly, that they
are removable and that they won’t damage the walls. Also, make sure that your surface is clean, dry and
dust-free prior to applying Snap. Wipe the wall first with a damp cloth or sponge and let it dry.
Q:
How do I remove Snap?
A:
If you didn’t place the decals exactly where you wanted or you want to try a new Snap design just give the decal
a nice, slow pull to remove it from the surface. Always start with the biggest pieces or the top edges and pull
down. The key is to work slowly. This will ensure that you don’t rip the decal. Then, either reposition your
Snap Instant Wall Art or apply a new design. It’s that easy! Remember to store the decals you are removing to
their original liner (
see How do I store my decals) so that you can enjoy them again at a later date.
Q:
How do I take care of my Snap decals?
A:
Taking care of your Snap decals is, well… a snap! They clean easily – gently wipe with a damp sponge or cloth.
For best performance, do not expose your Snap Instant Wall Art to extreme temperatures, harsh chemicals or
cleaners. Also try not to use too much water so that it can’t leak behind the decal causing the adhesive to
become less sticky.
Q:
Is there only one way to arrange Snap?
A:
Not at all! Get creative and express yourself! There are many ways you can arrange each Snap design. It is made easy because the designs are generally cut into a couple pieces. You didn’t place it exactly where you wanted? No worries. Just peel and reposition. It’s that easy!
Q:
What is Snap doing to be more eco-friendly?
A:

its eco-footprint. To reduce our impact on the environment, the plastic package is made of APET and is

Q:

A:
Of course! Snap is not made with any harmful toxins so kids are able to help parents decorate their space.
Q:
Will Snap remove paint from walls?
A:
Snap is a completely removable product so it will not remove the paint from walls. You do have to be careful,
however, when applying to freshly painted walls. You should check the drying time of the paint manufacturer because
different types of paint will have different drying times
(
see FAQ about applying decals to freshly painted walls).
Q:
Will Snap stick to textured walls?
A:
Snap is not designed to stick to highly textured walls. The place you will get the best results from is any
clean, smooth surface. It will not stick to brick or any other porous surface. To be sure that the decals will
stick to the surface you want test a small sticker in an inconspicuous location.
Q:
My Snap products aren’t sticking. Why?
A:
Please carefully read the instructions of the Snap products to ensure that they will stick properly. If it does
not stick at first clean and dry the wall and then try again. If the decals still don’t work after carefully
following the instructions then let us know! You can message someone directly through the live chat on this
websites, email us or even send us a message via Facebook or Twitter.
Q:
What not to do with your Snap decals
A:
In order for your Snap decals to continue sticking for as long as possible there are a few things that you
should avoid doing. First, do not clean decals with chemicals or cleaners. If they are dirty then gently wipe
them with a damp cloth or sponge. Also, don’t place decals on any surface that they aren’t supposed to be on
(fabrics, clothes, carpets) as this could compromise the effectiveness of the adhesive. Too much water on the
decals could also compromise the adhesive if it seeps around edges (especially if there are air bubbles) and soaks
the back so try to stay away from soaking the decals.
